2024 went by in a flash!!!
2023 finished and 2024 started with me DJing in Donegan's Bangor on New Years Eve.
With an average of one set a week, not always at the weekend either.
Whilst most of my Gigs are within 20 miles from my home this year I did travel 180 miles round trip for a night out.
I was the DJ mostly at birthday parties with age ranges from 9 right through to 70.
I had the privilege of DJing at the celebration of a baby's birth and from that event I got a further 3 events and they were all different.
Cheesy music, mostly country music at two of the events and at a 60th birthday party the oldskool went down a storm.

I have been blessed in 2024 to be asked to DJ at many events celebrating life events birthdays, weddings, wedding anniversary, end of year school parties, running events.
I have been the DJ indoors and outdoors and I have loved them all.
No two events are the same.
Music played at one event which gathers a fantastic reaction doesn't guarantee the same music at another event will be well received and it's then I rely on my experience to understand what the crowd are looking for and bring them along a musical journey with me.

This weekend seen the start of the Christmas party season.
Once again a private function and also a returning customer
To say we had a good night is an understatement, once the presentations were completed it was a full dance floor all night
Even playing the “one more song” three extra songs.
A great night and a great start to the season.
I have a couple of weeks of private functions before I take up the Friday nights at Dongeans.
From the 15th December every Friday night right up to and including New Years eve, come along and join me for good music, chilled drinks and a great vibe.
Halloween at donegan's
I was arranged to do a cover night at Donegans in Bangor on Halloween.
It had been hoped to have maybe a fancy dress competition on the night, but as it was, it was good music with happy people and a Very happy vibe.
Welcome to 2023
2023 didn't disappoint we were like a race horse out of the trap.
Starting with a full crowd participation at an 18th Birthday party in January, made better as they were a returning customer.
February seen us DJing at a school Valentines disco.
Over the night we seen four years of the school attend in the one night and all left very happy and a little bit more sweaty than they came in, from all their dancing.
April and May were quiet months, I guess added to the fact I didn't push my services too much.
However that all changed in June.
I went from no gigs, then increasing to two gigs a month to now having three gigs a month and having to turn down work due to family and personal
commitments, a man needs family time.
Christmas 2022
December was once again Christmas gatherings, indoors with loud music on these occasions.
To those who attended and the venue thank you for the booking.

Unfortunately the New Year’s Eve booking has been cancelled, the venue hasn’t got the uptake they had hoped for.
As I approach 2023 I look forward to a return to more events with me playing music you want to hear
40th Birthday​
What was to be a simple 40th Birthday in Bangor football club turned into a an oldskool rave party.
Weddings
A few weeks later once the restrictions where understood more bookings started to come in
We were allowed to play music, but at lower volume than normal and no dancing.
The Wedding bookings started again, in one week alone I had two weddings and in one month a total of three weddings.
People had been waiting for so long the bookings came flying in.
Weddings and birthdays being the most popular.
Energia 2022
Outdoors events was the way to go, less restrictions, higher volume levels.
​I was DJing at trackside for a number of running events.
​
One was so wet I thought I was going to have to replace all the equipment.
This one was well received though I think the music split up the rain showers.​

Whitespace NIURA 50K & 100K
May was the 1st event back from Lockdown
It was the Whitespace NIURA 50k & 100k race.
It was an outdoors event and we were blessed with amazing weather.
It was great once again to be teamed up with Steven Donegan Photography
and Last Lap Cafe.

The end of 2021
And just like that 2021 is over as quickly as it started.​
